Disney Publishing Worldwide Teams up with Little Free Library® and First Book to Bring Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War-themed Library Stands to Select Communities this May

Glendale, Calif. (May 7, 2018) – On Saturday, May 12, 2018, Disney Publishing Worldwide and Little Free Library will begin to reveal nine Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War-themed Little Free Libraries across the country, including a larger showpiece library in Los Angeles and the first underground Little Free Library in New York City. These libraries will be stocked with books for two years, courtesy of Disney Publishing Worldwide and the nonprofit social enterprise First Book (firstbook.org), as a way to bring communities together and celebrate the power of reading through affordable or free access to books.

The concept to create these brand-new themed libraries is to support Disney’s love of storytelling and to provide inspiration and opportunity to kids and families. The libraries will be set up in select areas across the United States, maintained by Little Free Library community stewards, and regularly stocked with books for two years. Featured titles in the libraries will include Marvel’s Avenger’s: Infinity War titles such as The Heroes’ Journey (Road to Avengers: Infinity War), The Cosmic Quest Vol. 1, along with many other epic stories. Visitors to Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War-themed Little Free Libraries, or any neighborhood Little Free Library, are also welcome to donate their own books.
