About UsFirst Book provides new books to children in need, addressing one of the most important factors affecting literacy – access to books. An innovative leader in social enterprise, First Book has distributed more than 65 million free and low-cost books to disadvantaged children and the programs that serve them. First Book-University of Cincinnati-Raymond Walters College is working hard to bring the magic of books to children in the Hamilton, Butler, Clermont, and Brown communities. Since beginning in 2004, we have provided over 13,000 books to over 12 literacy based programs in Cincinnati.
