An innovative leader in social enterprise, First Book has distributed more than 60 million free and low cost books to disadvantaged children and the programs that serve them.  First Book-Blair County is located in central Pennsylvania. Blair County is home to the world famous Horseshoe Curve and the original Slinky. First Book – Blair County was granted Advisory Board status in 2004, although, First Book has had a presence in this county since 2002 as part of the Central PA First Book Advisory Board located in State College, PA.
