Every child deserves a new book!
Remember the way a new book smells? Remember the feel of the crisp, clean pages? Some children haven't experienced those delights.
As writers and editors, we have a vested interest in insuring that all children learn to love reading. Please join the National Association of Independent Writers and Editors in raising money for First Book, a nonprofit organization that provides new books to children in need, addressing one of the most important factors affecting literacy - access to books.
