Imagine a world where children don’t know the magic of books. Where there are no stories to inspire the next generation of diverse creators, thinkers, and leaders. With the Magic of Storytelling, young people have an opportunity to build new skills and believe in possibilities.

Through a long-standing relationship with First Book, Disney has provided millions of books to children in need. They’ve inspired millions to take action to help bring new books and resources to these kids across the country. Help us cultivate the next generation of storytellers.

Help Spread the Magic of Storytelling

The books Disney donates are distributed by First Book to educators in schools and programs exclusively serving children from low-income families around the United States. Watch the PSA to the right to learn more about the Magic of Storytelling.

Educators who serve children in Title I schools or programs are encouraged to register for free. Registration takes about 5 minutes and once approved, educators can purchase books at reduced costs, access funding from promotional partners, and download free resources designed to help educators tackle issues in the classroom.

Thank you to Disney and First Book for making it possible for me to help foster the Magic of Storytelling to as many children as possible. In some cases, the books they take home may be the only thing that they truly own.
